Tin on Carbon is an alternate test specimen for medium resolution, and for the daily basic checking of your instrument performance. This specimen consists of a dispersion of tin spheres, within the size range 10 - 40 nm, on a carbon substrate. Ideal for astigmatism correction, it is also recommended for use in SEM's employed in the semi-conductor industry where the usual gold on carbon specimen cannot be used because of the risk of gold poisoning.

DuraPorter provides a secure and clean environment for carrying biological and clinical samples from one location to another. Ideal for use with a variety of laboratory items such as tubes, bottles, vials and instruments. DuraPorter transport boxes are constructed from high clarity polycarbonate that allows easy visibility of contents.
Transport boxes feature a positive latching hinged lid, leak tight silicone gasket, three integral clasps and a folding handle. Lid opens 180° for easy access to the interior compartment. Supplied with dividers to customize interior space.
Transport boxes can be autoclaved at 121°C for a maximum of 15 minutes.

These eco-friendly, rapidly degradable polypropylene containers are one of the most innovative specimen containers on the market today. Plastics take hundreds of years to degrade naturally in the environment, while the only condition necessary for these to biodegrade is constant contact with other degrading material.
No heat, physical stress, oxygen or sunlight are needed for product breakdown. They have the ability to break down safely and quickly, by biological means, into the raw materials of nature and disappear into the environment. They will biodegrade to become some of the soil's organic components in less than 7 years in constant contact with the soil, instead of up to 400 years as conventional plastics.

The Spectainer I is incorporates a unique tamper evident screw cap, ensuring sample integrety and peace of mind during transport or storage situations where someone could tamper with the specimen. The molded ridges around lid make it easy to open and close. The warning label has space for patient identification. Both containers and caps are manufactured without the use of plasticisers or mold release agents. All material used is free from latex. Containers are 95kpa compliant.
